  1. Discuss current approaches for clinical evaluation of potential insensitivity to oral and inhaled CS
  2. Describe glucocorticoid receptor function and current understanding of the molecular pathways that lead to CS insensitivity; Explain the interaction of the glucocorticoid receptor with other steroid receptor regulated pathways, i.e. vitamin D, sex hormones, etc.
  3. Discuss management of patients with suspected CS insensitivity and alternative therapeutic strategies for these patients
