  1. Describe the most commonly used methodologies for sampling the upper airways (nasal brushings, biopsies, synthetic absorptive matrices, sponge sampling, rhinoprobe, lavage, etc.)
  2. Discuss typical biomarker patterns generated in the setting of allergic rhinitis and in response to immunotherapy treatment
  3. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the sampling procedures and the relative importance of the biomarkers typically studied
